Investment in our safety within the framework of the European Funds for Lubelskie 2021-2027 Programme
167 quads have already been delivered to selected volunteer fire brigades. The value of each vehicle amounts to PLN 80,000. That equipment will support both the State Fire Service (PSP) and the Volunteer Fire Brigades (OSP) within the National Firefighting and Rescue System. The purchase is managed by the Voivodeship Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Lublin that is implementing the Project named ‘Adaptation of the National Firefighting and Rescue System in the Lublin Voivodeship to Climate Change, Environmental Changes, and Civilisational Threats.’ The Project is financed from the European Funds within the framework of the European Funds for Lubelskie 2021-2027 Programme, Measure 3.1 Ecological Safety. The Co-financing Agreement for the Project was concluded on March 31, 2024.
The Project is of a supra-local nature and is being implemented throughout the entire Lubelskie Voivodeship. The equipment, that will be provided to fire brigades, includes not only quads but also boats, heavy rescue and firefighting vehicles, and other smaller equipment that will be used during rescue operations.

That equipment will support firefighters in addressing incidents that pose a threat to human life and health as well as the natural environment, particularly in difficult-to-access areas. It will aid in high-altitude, technical, ecological, chemical, water, and flood rescue operations, and provide a comprehensive solution for delivering potable water in emergency cases.
Thanks to the European Funds, firefighters will be able to conduct rescue operations more effectively across the entire voivodeship. Additionally, evacuation of individuals injured in road accidents will be more efficient.
It is estimated that as a result of the Project’s implementation:
